Luc Larmuseau is a results-driven senior professional and all-round skilled engineer. Most of his 30+ year long career has been focussed on starting-up, building, scaling, improving businesses and executing strategic projects.

He has wide international experience in environmental and energy technology, transport & logistics and business mentoring in a wide array of sectors.

He is the founder and MD of iLLumoo BVBA which, since 2015 has advised on business development and assisting startups and SME’s in bringing in an innovative way their products and services to new geographies and parallel markets.

Having studied for an M.Sc in Chemical Engineering at the University of Gent from 1985 to 1991, he also gained an M.Sc in Advanced Studies in Environmental Technology at the same institution in 1993, having completed a year as a project engineer with multi-national engineering company Ove Arup in Birmingham, UK, in 1992.

Between 1993 and 1999 he was Business Unit Manager with the LISEC Environmental Consultancy in Genk, before taking on various roles, including Business Development Manager at DNV GL – testing and advisory services to the energy value chain - in offices across Europe and elsewhere for 15 years.

He was Global Quality Manager Service Logistics at DPDHL Supply Chain until December 2020.

Apart from his recent involvement with Consono, he continues to work as a business development consultant with a number of organizations. These include: Sfinx Inside, a Belgian startup focusing on smart lock industry; Verico SCE, for verification of emissions and carbon footprint; and Network Ondernemen in Antwerp, advising start-up and scale-up companies on international networking.
